Yes This Actually Is My Life

I had someone I know contact me the other day and ask if I really clean my house with only vinegar, water and baking soda.  It wasn't to be insulting, she is trying to eliminate chemicals from her house and  wanted to find out if I really use only that and how I use them.

It made me laugh as she asked.  YES this blog and the information is in fact how we live.  Anything I am posting are things that I have actually done and continue to do in my household.  I have a quite large garden in the backyard growing as much as I can.  I make my own flour and ALL bread products.  I make my own butter, jams and ice creams.  I use vinegar, water and baking soda to clean, and a little hydrogen peroxide for the counter tops.  We haven't used a scented products in this house for years and all things have to be BPA, phthalate, SLS and dye free.  And with a little help from my daughter I make my own laundry detergent.

I know to someone who isn't living this lifestyle it seems like it cannot be real, but oh yes it is.

Is it easy?  of course not, but that's why I have this blog.  I hope that some of this info will be helpful to someone looking to change.
